LIGNA presents:
Pachakuti.
The theater of the revolution.
The theater must be part of the revolution. It is not in service, it's part of the revolution, preparing them and their general sample. Augusto Boal How can theater be the basis and trigger a revolution? will answer that question
Pachakuti through the sample, analysis and intensive search for a theater of the revolution. The time is immobilized and begins a journey through the colonial and post colonial history of Latin America. The great revolutions of Simon Bolivar and Hugo Chavez seem fast as spectacular events that might serve to nation building, but not to free the people. and could mean a very different era - but is there another rebellion, which is remembered in Europe less. Pachakuti
can on this trip, the spectators themselves become actors in these experiments. They act organized against each other, temporarily disconnect, unite again and in a surreal dream of a different society. You will become designers of their situations - and their collective history.
Pachakuti
is the opportunity to test ideas of the revolution and they tentatively into a new practice - the practice of a revolutionary theater - to implement.
