environmental crises have led in 2071 to the dissolution of states and communities: Everyone man for himself. A commission to investigate how could it come to this development. Under what conditions the people lived in the past, and what reasons they had to act the way they did? The 60-years distant base station, which has entrenched itself in an old theater, sends a part of the team back to the year 2011 - out into the urban environment. But where information on alternatives for the future are to be found? Could a ringing telephone at the right time to change the course of events?
